#2 - Do You Speak With Jehovah's Witnesses?

Many Christians are approached and befriended by Jehovah’s Witnesses. They are happy, friendly people, who seem to be concerned with whether or not you believe in God, and if you know His name. They are always nicely dressed, polite, respectful, and carry books and pamphlets with them. They have a good knowledge of Scripture, and can quote it at the drop of a hat. In short, they seem like the perfect Christians. DON’T BE FOOLED!

There is only one purpose in a Jehovah’s Witness’s life—to serve his/her earthly master—The Watchtower organization. There is one ultimate goal for this cult—to destroy Christianity. There is only one reason for a Jehovah’s Witness to befriend a Christian—to convert him into a Jehovah’s Witness, or to at least destroy the beliefs of Christian truth in the victim’s mind and to replace them with Watchtower heresies. DON’T BE FOOLED!

If a Jehovah’s Witness thinks he can brainwash someone with his Watchtower beliefs, then he will stick to that person. He will befriend that person, exchange phone numbers, offer to set up bible study time with him, and go out of his way to ‘help’ him overcome Christian teachings with Watchtower books and pamphlets. This Jehovah’s Witness will become a best friend, someone to confide in and talk to at any time. He will invite his victim to a Kingdom Hall, to meet other Jehovah’s Witnesses, and to listen to what they have to say. DON’T BE FOOLED! Put this wolf in sheep’s clothing to the test.

If you are approached by a Jehovah’s Witness on the street or at the train station, and you tell him you are a Christian and you will not listen to Watchtower lies, the Witness will, after a good effort to make you listen, leave you alone and never come back.

If you have a ‘friend’ who is a Jehovah’s Witness, and you’ve been studying with him for some time, and you suddenly tell him, “We are friends, and I want to remain your friend, but from now on I don’t want to talk religion with you anymore,” he will, after a good effort to convince you otherwise, agree with this but will slowly drift away from you and eventually disappear from your social circle. Some friend!

If a Jehovah’s Witness cannot make you believe Watchtower doctrines, he will stop wasting his time with you and look elsewhere for other victims to convert. His self-serving agenda then becomes obvious.

WARNING: The average Christian does not have enough Bible knowledge and understanding to defend his beliefs against the Watchtower’s trained speakers. It is advisable to AVOID ALL RELIGIOUS DISCUSSION with a Jehovah’s Witness. It is best, for the uninformed, to avoid reading the Watchtower’s publications (immediately recognizable by their trademark artwork), or their distorted bible—The New World Translation of The Holy Scriptures. Instead, read a legitimate Bible (the original King James version is the most accurate English translation) and pray for God’s enlightenment, and the Lord will guide you to the truth.
